School Closures During
Inclement Weather
As in
the case of other sub-school systems in the Eastern School District,
Cape St. Francis
Elementary, in consultation
with
Holy Trinity
Elementary and Holy Trinity High Schools,
will now have the
option of delaying opening,
and closing school
early, during inclement weather conditions.
When the St. John’s Metro System is closed due to those winter
storms, etc., Cape St. Francis will
still
be automatically
included
in
those closures. However, we now have the option of also opening late
or closing early when St. John’s schools may not necessarily be
doing so. We will announce
such closures on the radio
and
make a “synervoice”
phone call
to
all homes
when
this occurs. When we do decide to close, Holy Trinity Elementary and
Holy Trinity High will also be closing. This will certainly allow
for enhanced safety for all in the future.
