About Our School
School Information
Cape St. Francis Elementary School
is part of the new Eastern School District which operates 127 schools,
approximately 45 000 students, and 4 000 teaching and support staff. The Eastern
School District is comprised of four distinct regions:
Avalon East (east of Holyrood)
Avalon West (west of Holyrood)
Burin Peninsula
Vista (Clarenville and Bonavista Peninsula)
Cape St. Francis Elementary School
is located in the beautiful and scenic town of Pouch (pronounced
pooch)
Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador which is approximately twenty minutes outside
the city of St. John’s. The school was opened in January 2002 and serves the
educational needs of the communities of Bauline, Flatrock, and Pouch Cove. We
are a small school with a population of 258 students attending Kindergarten
through Grade Six. Our school colours are blue and red. We love to welcome
visitors, so please drop by and see our beautiful new school!
